In these five words we define what Warp Drive Enterprises, Inc is all about. They are the cornerstones of our business model and the building blocks of each and every design project we undertake.

Flexibility

WDEI won’t try to make your project fit "our" style… WDEI will make our style fit "YOUR" project. From the title block on your fire sprinkler layout to the finished look of your website, WDEI will adjust to accommodate your particular needs, wants and requirements. As our Design Team becomes more familiar with your situation, you’ll come to feel that WDEI is on the same page with you… We’ve even been accused of "reading minds"! Your drawings, reports, commentaries and your website will reflect YOUR business and build YOUR brand the way YOU want. WDEI will be there to facilitate your plan and help make it work for you.

Simplicity

Here at WDEI we (almost religiously) adhere to the old K.I.S.S. principle…

More specifically though, our customers always tell us, "We want the simplest, cheapest fire sprinkler system that the local authority will approve." And we always remind them, "Of course we’ll design the simplest, least expensive system that meets the requirements of the code… after all the real purpose behind our whole effort… is to prevent the building from burning down and killing or injuring someone in the process!"

Our primary goal is to provide the best possible fire protection at the most affordable price in the least amount of time.

Sometimes the best way to accomplish that task is not to use the latest, greatest gadget, but instead to keep it simple, keep the pipe straight and make things as easy on the installer as possible… in other words K.I.S.S!

Amazingly the same thing works for Web Design too! Provide a simple, straightforward, easy to navigate, highly informative content driven web site and it works!

So here at WDEI, we will continue to K.I.S.S. and design better Fire Protection Systems and Websites for the Fire Sprinkler Industry.

Accuracy

Our goal is always perfection, our design methods allow us to spend "extra time" double and triple checking to ensure "no mistakes". This includes spelling, grammar, appearance, mathematical, code and anything else WDEI, our clients and those who review our work can dream up!

Integrity

Say what we mean, mean what we say. Accept responsibility for our mistakes and correct them. Communicate with our clients, "Tell it like it is!". Doing what is right, even when it is difficult to do the right thing.

It cannot be stressed how important our integrity is to us. We will (and have) gone to great lengths to establish and protect our reputation. Whether pulling an all nighter, working weekends and/or holidays, addressing "issues" with "authorities" or "correcting" a "misunderstanding" WDEI will do whatever it takes to get the job done right.

Fun

Whistle while you work. Smile, smile, smile! If you’re not having fun doing what you’re doing, perhaps you should be doing something else.

All of our designers enjoy this work, even battling with an AHJ over some obscure code reference! It’s not unusual to hear laughter during a phone conversation. And we hope our enthusiasm is infectious!
